Earlier this week I touched on the subject of Lindsay Shephard, a T.A. here in Canada who’s been set upon by rapid Social Justice Warriors. For the “crime” of showing a video that might have opposed some of their views!...What a crime....Having different opinions.

Apparently in today’s day and age...It is akin to being the DEVIL himself. This week there was a tragic loss of life when a young Women Named August Ames, took her own life after receiving a crazy level of abuse online. Why were people harassing her?

Well, she was a porn star who didn’t want to have sex with Gay actors. That’s it, she had PREFERENCES! She had a reason for this that some people consider bigoted. Her contention was gay men are more likely to have sexually transmitted diseases, such as HIV/AIDS, and she just didn’t want to work with them.

She was choosing to not be FORCED in to something, something she didn’t agree with, and wanted no part in....Something I thought was the cornerstone of the feminist/ acceptance movement. Apparently not, if you dare challenge their views! The view that everything is FANTASTIC! And actions have NO consequences.....They will come down on you like a ton of bricks and call you a hateful bigot because you dare DISAGREE! HOW DARE YOU VOICE AN OPINION! REEEEE!

This was a young 23 year old, who chose to take her own life after receiving a crazy amount of backlash for her opinion.... A women people called homophobic for simply not wanting to have sex with gay men. Even though she’s attracted to females, by her own admission...

The social justice has gone to FAR! If people can’t express their preferences for who they sleep with without being called bigoted...Then we are drawing battle lines that are going to lead to somewhere dangerous....

On a more positive note, the website is up and running! I just have to figure out a few things. Like actually getting it to be www.frickturedart.com And not www.fricktured-art.myshopify.com... but other than that, it’s all functional! I’m really happy with the way it turned out, took a lot of tweaking and tiny modifications here and there. But I’m super happy with it, let me know what you think!
