Fricktured Friday

It has been a... While, since I’ve posted anything here. I went on the a trip for the month of August. More than anything, this trip turned out to be a learning experience. It wasn’t the trip I had planned originally, far from it. But I needed to go back to B.C. I needed to get away..... I needed to go somewhere.

I was trying to see if I could find something that I’ve been looking for, for years. And I’m really not sure what I’m even looking for if I’m being totally honest... A place to call home. A place I could make my own... I guess... Among other things.

I found several places that I really liked scenery wise, the.... “culture” in some of the areas however, simply isn’t my cup of tea.

I definitely wanted to sell and market my art much more than I did.... But this trip wasn’t really about that in the end. It turned into more of a “pilgrimage” and a camping/ hiking trip... The time spent out there, it really helped me...

I did double my following on Facebook, so that’s something! :P

I’m going to do a trip like this again, But....Differently, and for a much longer period of time. Planning, and preparation are what I’m doing now.

I’ve got a lot of things on the go right now. And a little bit of bullshit that I need to deal with. I’ve got quite a bit planned for the future, and that includes a few changes here.

I’m not going to be blogging three times a week any longer, for one. I wasn’t enjoying it anymore, and I’m simply not willing to make one of my favourite things, art, something I dread. And I was beginning to dread doing my blog updates, so, no more. I’m going to be cutting back to once a week, maybe even less. I want to make my blog posts longer, with more art, and a larger focal point.

I’m also going to be doing some smaller updates on my Instagram page, and not adding a lot of my artwork to blog posts, but instead posting it there. I’m going to look into marketing this, better, and integrating all my social media together, so the updates are simultaneous across all platforms.

That’s my plan, for the for the future here. I just wanted to write an update, and let people know what’s going on. I would talk more about my trip, but I don’t want to type it out... so, here’s some pictures... And a few pieces of artwork that I’m working on.
